OASIS pressure coolers are now powder coated on galvanized steel for a more
durable, more attractive exterior.
What is Powder Coating? Powder coating is the fastest growing finishing technology in North America. It contains a mixture of finely ground particles of pigment and resin, sprayed and bonded for complete coverage. The most durable quality finish available, powder coating is now available on OASIS pressure coolers.
Resists cracking and chipping around the edges -- Finish is sprayed, heated and cured for excellent adhesion and better edge coverage.
Resists Corrosion -- Coating is applied to galvanized steel which is proven to successfully resist rusting even in rigorous salt spray tests.
Resists Chemicals -- Resistant to key ingredients found in most household and commercial cleaners, including hydrochloric acid, acetic acid, phosphoric acid, sodium hydroxide, ammonia, and ethanol.
Resists Scratches -- In studies using a Gardco pencil hardness gauge, finish showed superior hardness with minimal signs of scratching or marring.
Resists Fading -- Effectively withstands effects of UV light to keep colors bright and vibrant.
Resists Impact and Abrasion -- Using a Gardner impact tester, powder coated samples could bear a dropping load of 18 inch-pounds before showing signs of cracking.
Resists Quality Variations -- By eliminating extra mixing steps, ready-to-use powder coating produces consistent finishing results, including optimum film thickness.
